A – “If a practitioner is strongly concerned and they don’t feel the designated lead has taken enough steps to safeguard a child you can ring the local safeguarding board yourself. Everyone has a duty to safeguard children.”
A – “Reassure, report, record ! Reassure the child, report it to your room leader , safeguarding lead or manager , if none of those are available you have a duty to call it in . Record it all accurately using short succinct language. Don’t ask leading questions to the child and record the facts , don’t give your personal opinions”
