Busy Bees Nursery Groups acquire 4 more nurseries

Busy Bees has brought four more nurseries, one of which is Rockwell House Day Nursery. The four nurseries that have been acquired are from the family run business ‘Bramley Nurseries’. Busy Bees are the UK largest nursery group.

The nurseries that have been brought are;

• Rockwell House in Wantage
• Bramley in Ardington
• Ladygrove in Didcot
• York House in Salisbury

Owners Sue and John Watson have decided to scale down their business and plan to take semi retirement. The nurseries that they still have will be rebranded as Aurora Childcare. 

The Nursery Group Busy Bees is continuously expanding, they have acquired two more single site nurseries in the last month. They have also purchased the Canadian nursery group BrightPath – pushing up its pre-school portfolio to 482 nurseries in the UK, Canada, Singapore and Malaysia.

Canada’s private childcare provider BrightPath, has 8,950 childcare places in 78 locations in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia and employs more than 2,100 people.
