Prior to the announcement of the potential closure, the nursery was facing financial difficulties and the only solution being was closure which would have resulted in nine staff being made redundant and 40 children losing their nursery.
The outstanding nursery that is situated within a castle struggled at first to find a solution to the financial difficulties however IT consultant Ed Miles has been appointed to take over.
In June the nursery shared that crippling budget cuts and changes to legislation regarding the free childcare scheme were reasons behind the decision to close.
