More than £3,000 raised by First Class Nursery for Air Ambulance Charity
A fundraising event was organised by the nursery and families to support the Air Ambulance Charity. Events included organised sports tournaments and spelling challenges. A cheque for over £3000 was presented to Roger Stevenson from First Class Nursery.
The Air Ambulance Charity was chosen as it plays a special place in director Ginny Baker’s heart after her nephew fell from a tree and was airlifted to the hospital in the ambulance, At the time the ambulance was piloted by Prince William. The support for this fundraising event was massive, with a lot of families joining in and helping raise a total of £3,228
Every year First Class Nursery supports a charity and at present the nursery is thinking of who to support next year, they have in the past supported Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, maternity wards and cancer charities.
First, Class Nursery is an outstanding rated nursery with 185 children on roll.
