Thinking of a career in childcare
The Early Years Team at Dorest County Council are putting together an exhibition to help those who are thinking of a career in Childcare. It will also provide already training practitioners with ideas of how they can progress their careers.
The event is free and is on Saturday 30th January at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester between 10am and 12pm.
Pop along and find out about a career in working with children. You will be able to find out about the different childcare routes. and staff and trainers will be on hand to answer any questions.
Tina Ironside, workforce development manager, said: “We want as many practitioners who already work in childcare to come and see how they might progress their careers. Also, we’d love to meet people who might be considering a career in childcare so that we can help them with training and support.
