Finally, a place for parents to register for the new Tax-Free Childcare scheme and the 30hrs free childcare offer
A new Government website called Childcare Choices has been launched for millions of parents to register for the new tax-free childcare and the 30hrs free childcare scheme.
Many parents have been wondering where they can register for the 30hrs free childcare scheme; this new website will now be available for those parents to register who are eligible. The website went live on the 22nd March
As many of us know the new tax-free childcare is set to launch on the 28th April, the scheme involves parents paying funds into an account, for every 80p parents pay in Government are putting in 20p. The scheme will save parents £2000 per child per year or £4000 per year for disabled children.
30 hours childcare offer
The new Childcare Choices website can now be shared with parents for them to apply for the 30hrs free childcare scheme. The website gives parents further information about which childcare offer works best for them. All childcare options are displayed on the website for parents to read about.
Also, the childcare website includes a childcare calculator for parents to use when they are comparing the different childcare offers, this enables them to check what best suits them.
Once parents have registered for the 30hrs free childcare scheme via the website, they will receive a code; this will then allow then to find a childcare place for their child.

Your working hrs can be weekend or evenings, when nurseries are closed.
