Tops Day Nurseries are to start offering parents the option of booking childcare in 15-minute slots, this is it help families save money. This will be offered at their new acquired setting in Hampshire. Along with offering a more flexible approach the nursery is extending its opening hours to again help working parents, the setting will be open from 8 am to 6pm including Bank Holidays

Cheryl Hadland, managing director of Tops Days Nurseries, said, ‘We work with our families to ensure that they get childcare that suits their requirements. One way we meet this is by taking bookings to the nearest 15 minutes so parents are not paying for time they do not use.

‘While logistically and financially this is not necessarily the most fruitful way to operate, our social impact is of high importance and as this flexibility is very popular with families and single parents that use us, this is the way we will continue.’

As this setting is the only nursery to offer parents this option across the south it means it will be able to meet the demands of childcare as well as providing parents with different options for childcare.
