Reminder – confirmation of registration details required
I refer to my recent communication concerning changes to early years and childcare registration measures brought in by new legislation on 1st January 2016. You can see details of these changes at https://www.gov.uk/government/news/childcare-measures-small-business-enterprise-employment-act. The aim of the new legislation is to reduce regulatory burden on providers and by changing some of our processes to reflect the new legislation, we also hope to reduce some of the related administration for childcare providers.
However, in order to ensure that we implement the changes into our processes accurately, and that you benefit from the changes, we require confirmation that the registration details we hold for your organisation are correct. As we have not received a reply from you, I am attaching our original letter which also includes the registration details form and guidance on how to complete it.
The form needs to be completed by the registered person or their nominated individual for the organisation registered with Ofsted. Please return the form within the next five days to this email address. It is important that the details of your registration certificate accurately reflect how the provision is operated otherwise this may affect your insurance and registration.
If you have queries about any of the details we have requested please use this email address. We will be unable to respond to any queries relating to this email in any other way.
Please note it is a legal requirement to keep Ofsted up to date with any changes to a registered person, anyone that is registered as part of that registered person or a change to the person who is managing the early years provision. Notification is required within 14 days of the change.
If you have recently responded to my initial email and have returned the completed registration details form, no further action is required.
