These Early Years Training courses are an essential way of ensuring practitioners are up to date with current practice. The courses are designed to update practitioners knowledge, awareness and develop their skills further. Core courses such as Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding are renewable every 3 years and other courses should be renewed to ensure compliance with Ofsted and welfare requirements. EYFS Learning and Development courses run by Local Education Authorities are short courses that can help practitioners practice as well as underpinning the welfare requirements of the EYFS.

Pricing of Courses
The cost for all courses are detailed next to each course. Provider Briefings are FREE to all Leicestershire Ofsted registered childcare providers. Please see full details of the pricing and cancellation policy for these courses.
How to cancel a course
To cancel any courses please email childcare@leics.gov.uk, giving your name, setting name, course number, course title and date of course. Please be aware of the terms and conditions of cancelling a course.
